Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel praised CREDAI’s commitment to sustainable development at the ‘Big Shift - Change of Guard Ceremony 2025’ in Gandhinagar.
He emphasized aligning with PM Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047 through green initiatives like rainwater harvesting, tree plantation, and natural farming. Shekhar Patel, MD of Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd, succeeded Boman Irani as CREDAI National President. Shekhar proposed redefining affordable housing by raising the cap from ₹45 lakh to ₹75–80 lakh, citing inflation. He aims to reduce the GST burden on homebuyers and promote green building practices. Under his leadership, CREDAI Gujarat pledged to upgrade 1,000 government schools, strengthening real estate’s role in India’s growth.
