Renewable energy firm marks its debut in eastern India with record-speed project completion.

AMPIN Energy Transition Commissions 50 MW Solar Project in Chhattisgarh.                                                                                                                                          

AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned a 50 MW solar project in the Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh, marking the company’s first foray into the state. Completed in a record nine months, the plant is part of AMPIN’s expanding portfolio of 5 GWp capacity across 23 states. The solar plant operates under an open access model, supplying clean energy to Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd and one of Chhattisgarh’s largest steel manufacturers. It is expected to generate approximately 78.21 million units of green electricity annually, supporting the region’s industrial and sustainability goals. Pinaki Bhattacharyya, Founder, MD & CEO of AMPIN Energy Transition, highlighted Chhattisgarh’s progressive Green Energy Open Access (GEOA) policy and investor-friendly ecosystem, stating that the project reinforces the company’s commitment to accelerating renewable energy adoption in Eastern India. The initiative underscores AMPIN’s mission to drive a greener future while supporting India’s transition to sustainable energy.
