Project to aid JSL’s decarbonisation push, scalable to 1.5 KTPA production.
Greenzo to Build 472-Tonne Green Hydrogen Plant for Jindal Stainless in Odisha.
Greenzo Energy India has secured an order from Jindal Stainless (JSL) to set up a green hydrogen plant at its Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur, Odisha. Designed to produce 472,409 kg (0.47 KTPA) of green hydrogen annually, the project is scalable up to 1.5 KTPA. Greenzo will deliver the electrolyser system, balance of plant equipment, erection, installation, and commissioning within six months of contract signing. The hydrogen will be integrated into JSL’s stainless steel manufacturing process, helping cut carbon emissions. The electrolyser will feature SCADA and AI-based automation for real-time optimisation and predictive diagnostics. Greenzo will also provide 30 days of on-site training and 11 months of virtual support to JSL’s technical team. “The trust shown by Jindal Stainless reinforces our position as a leading hydrogen technology partner,” said Sandeep Agarwal, MD of Greenzo. The project marks a major step in advancing India’s green hydrogen ambitions and net-zero targets.
