Luxury, No Risk — Trump Brand Booms in India’s Real Estate Market
Trump Organisation’s India Expansion Quadruples Footprint, Nets ₹175 Cr from 7 Projects.
The Trump Organisation has significantly expanded its presence in India, earning nearly ₹175 crore from seven high-end real estate projects since its debut in 2012. According to The Indian Express, India has emerged as the company’s most profitable international market, thanks to a zero-investment, high-margin model where it licenses the Trump brand to top Indian developers, collecting 3–5% of project sales as fees. With recent expansions following Donald Trump's election as the 47th U.S. President in 2024, the Trump Organisation, alongside partner Tribeca Developers, has announced six new projects across Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. These ventures will quadruple the brand’s footprint from 3 million to 11 million sq ft. Notably, three projects launched in 2025 alone account for over 4.3 million sq ft. Branded as luxury real estate, these developments carry premium pricing thanks to the Trump name, despite the organisation bearing no land, funding, or construction responsibilities.
