Bihar Unveils Industrial Package 2025 with Free Land, ₹40 Cr Incentives for Investors.                                                                                                                         

The Bihar government has launched the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025 (BIPPP-2025) to accelerate industrial growth and job creation in the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the policy offers free land allocation and interest subvention up to ₹40 crore to investors, with a target of generating 1 crore jobs in five years. Under the package, industrial units investing over ₹100 crore and creating 1,000 direct jobs will receive up to 10 acres of land free of cost, while units investing more than ₹1,000 crore will be allotted up to 25 acres. Fortune 500 companies will also be eligible for free land allocation. The package includes SGST reimbursement up to 300%, capital subsidy of 30%, export incentives, and support for skill development, renewable energy, patent registration, and private industrial parks. Investors must apply before March 31, 2026. The move comes months ahead of Bihar’s assembly elections.
